Syed
Asghar Hussain Shah Sabzwari (Senior Advocate, Supreme
Court of Pakistan) heads the firm “Sabzwari Law
Associates”. He passed LLB Examination in Year 1967 from
PESHAWAR UNIVERSITY LAW COLLEGE .He joined an advocate
of his times namely CH.Fazal-e-Haq who was a very out
standing advocate of his times at practicing at
Rawalpindi. He was a retired District and Session Judge
and Ex-Registrar of West Pakistan High Court. He had the
honor of an officer of Judge Advocate of General Office
at G.H.Q and was a member of Prosecution team in very
well known Indian National Army trials. He was a Member
of Law Commission of Pakistan. Like his senior, Syed
Asghar Hussain Sabzwari practiced in all sites that is
Civil, Criminal, Corporate and in Army Laws etc.
He was
exclusively devoted to law practice continuously .He was
elected to be highly esteemed Office of Member Punjab
bar council Lahore for two stints (1984-1989) and
(1995-1999). He was member of Finance Committee and Pak
Law General committee of the bar council. He held to
Highest Elective Officer of the Punjab Bar Council that
is Vice Chairman in 1996 year. Ever since his enrolment
as an Advocate in 1968 year, he is continuously
practicing on all sides of law .He was enrolled as
Advocate of Lahore High Court in 1975 year and as
Advocate of Supreme court in1982
It is pertinent to mention that he
is the Senior Most Lawyer of Islamabad Bar Association..
He has the honour of appearing in Important Cases in the Supreme Court, Islamabad High Court, Lahore High Court, Peshawar High Court, Sindh High Court, Baluchistan High Court and different Courts throughout the Country. He is appearing regularly in Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi and at its Principal seat at Lahore. He has to his credit to nearly hundred landmark cases reported in Law Journals of Pakistan. He has acted for and against local authorities/bodies, District Administration and also appeared for and against Government departments and Quasi Government Organisations. He also has the privilege and honour to act as Court appointed Arbitrator in certain cases.

Dr. Iqbal Raza v.s. Siemens AG
He has been responsible for filing a case
against Siemens AG for pilfering and violating
Intellectual Property Rights of Dr. Syed Iqbal Raza and
for their continued usage and violation, in relation to
a software programme i.e. “Dr. Sir” created and
developed by him. The case has been a landmark
achievement in the field of IP Laws and has been filed
both in Pakistani and U.S jurisdictions.
